This round rattan bag features premium Ata reed weaving and a distinctive leather handle crafted in what our artisans call the snail style — a coiled leather design that's both practical and visually interesting. It has a hard shell on both sides which makes it more protective than a standard woven bag, and two small base stands keep it upright when set down. The Batik lining inside is colourful and traditional.
The Ata reed is sourced from Lombok and smoked over coconut husks during drying — the traditional process that gives the rattan its warm golden colour and long-term durability.
